Die 2 Aprilis 2026.

Feria V in Cœna Domini.

Duplex I. Classis.

Amen.
Dómine in unióne illíus divínæ intentiónis, qua ipse in terris laudes Deo persolvísti, has tibi Horas persólvo.

O Lord, open Thou my mouth that I may bless Thy Holy Name. Cleanse my heart from all vain, evil, and wandering thoughts; enlighten my understanding; kindle my affections, that I may pray to, and praise Thee with attention and devotion; and may worthily be heard before the presence of Thy Divine Majesty. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Lord, in union with that Divine Intention wherewith Thou didst Thyself praise God, while as Thou wast on earth, I offer these Hours unto Thee.

Ad Primam.

Dicuntur secreto.

Pater noster, qui es in cœlis: sanctificétur nomen tuum: advéniat regnum tuum: fiat volúntas tua, sicut in cœlo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidiánum da nobis hódie: et dimítte nobis débita nostra, sicut et nos dimíttimus debitóribus nostris: et ne nos indúcas in tentatiónem: sed líbera nos a malo. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven: hallowed be thy name: thy kingdom come: thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread: and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us: and lead us not into temptation: but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Ave María, grátia plena, Dóminus tecum: benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus fructus ventris tui Jesus. Sancta María, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus, nunc et in hora mortis nostræ. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Credo in Spíritum sanctum, sanctam Ecclésiam cathólicam, sanctórum communiónem, remissiónem peccatórum, carnis resurrectiónem, vitam ætérnam. Amen.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried: He descended into hell: the third day He rose again from the dead: He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the Forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the body. And the Life everlasting. Amen.

Psalmi.

Psalmus 53.

Deus in nómine tuo salvum me fac: * et in virtúte tua júdica me.
7 Quóniam ex omni tribulatióne eripuísti me: * et super inimícos meos despéxit óculus meus.

Save me, O God, by thy name, * and judge me in thy strength.
2 O God, hear my prayer: * give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen up against me; † and the mighty have sought after my soul: * and they have not set God before their eyes.
4 For behold God is my helper: * and the Lord is the protector of my soul.
5 Turn back the evils upon my enemies; * and cut them off in thy truth.
6 I will freely sacrifice to thee, * and will give praise, O God, to thy name: because it is good:
7 For thou hast delivered me out of all trouble: * and my eye hath looked down upon my enemies.

Psalmus 118. 1-16.

8 Justificatiónes tuas custódiam: * non me derelínquas usquequáque.
9 In quo córrigit adolescéntior viam suam? * in custodiéndo sermónes tuos.
10 In toto corde meo exquisívi te: * ne repéllas me a mandátis tuis.
13 In lábiis meis, * pronuntiávi ómnia judícia oris tui.
14 In via testimoniórum tuórum delectátus sum, * sicut in ómnibus divítiis.
15 In mandátis tuis exercébor: * et considerábo vias tuas.
16 In justificatiónibus tuis meditábor: * non oblivíscar sermónes tuos.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, * who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Blessed are they who search his testimonies: * that seek him with their whole heart.
3 For they that work iniquity, * have not walked in his ways.
4 Thou hast commanded * thy commandments to be kept most diligently.
5 O! that my ways may be directed * to keep thy justifications.
6 Then shall I not be confounded, * when I shall look into all thy commandments.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, * when I shall have learned the judgments of thy justice.
8 I will keep thy justifications: * O! do not thou utterly forsake me.
9 By what doth a young man correct his way? * by observing thy words.
10 With my whole heart have I sought after thee: * let me not stray from thy commandments.
11 Thy words have I hidden in my heart, * that I may not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: * teach me thy justifications.
13 With my lips * I have pronounced all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have been delighted in the way of thy testimonies, * as in all riches.
15 I will meditate on thy commandments: * and I will consider thy ways.
16 I will think of thy justifications: * I will not forget thy words.

Psalmus 118. 17-32.

Retríbue servo tuo, vivífica me: * et custódiam sermónes tuos.
19 Incola ego sum in terra: * non abscóndas a me mandáta tua.
20 Concupívit ánima mea desideráre justificatiónes tuas, * in omni témpore.
21 Increpásti supérbos: * maledícti qui declínant a mandátis tuis.
22 Aufer a me oppróbrium, et contémptum: * quia testimónia tua exquisívi.
23 Etenim sedérunt príncipes, et advérsum me loquebántur: * servus autem tuus exercebátur in justificatiónibus tuis.
25 Adhǽsit paviménto ánima mea: * vivífica me secúndum verbum tuum.
26 Vias meas enuntiávi, et exaudísti me: * doce me justificatiónes tuas.
27 Viam justificatiónum tuárum ínstrue me: * et exercébor in mirabílibus tuis.
28 Dormitávit ánima mea præ tǽdio: * confírma me in verbis tuis.
29 Viam iniquitátis ámove a me: * et de lege tua miserére mei.
30 Viam veritátis elégi: * judícia tua non sum oblítus.
31 Adhǽsi testimóniis tuis, Dómine: * noli me confúndere.
32 Viam mandatórum tuórum cucúrri, * cum dilatásti cor meum.

Give bountifully to thy servant, enliven me: * and I shall keep thy words.
18 Open thou my eyes: * and I will consider the wondrous things of thy law.
19 I am a sojourner on the earth: * hide not thy commandments from me.
20 My soul hath coveted to long for thy justifications, * at all times.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud: * they are cursed who decline from thy commandments.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt: * because I have sought after thy testimonies.
23 For princes sat, and spoke against me: * but thy servant was employed in thy justifications.
24 For thy testimonies are my meditation: * and thy justifications my counsel.
25 My soul hath cleaved to the pavement: * quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 I have declared my ways, and thou hast heard me: * teach me thy justifications.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy justifications: * and I shall be exercised in thy wondrous works.
28 My soul hath slumbered through heaviness: * strengthen thou me in thy words.
29 Remove from me the way of iniquity: * and out of thy law have mercy on me.
30 I have chosen the way of truth: * thy judgments I have not forgotten.
31 I have stuck to thy testimonies, O Lord: * put me not to shame.
32 I have run the way of thy commandments, * when thou didst enlarge my heart.

Preces.

Psalmus 50.

Miserére mei Deus, * secúndum magnam misericórdiam tuam.
2 Et secúndum multitúdinem miseratiónum tuárum, * dele iniquitátem meam.
3 Amplius lava me ab iniquitáte mea: * et a peccáto meo munda me.
8 Aspérges me hyssópo, et mundábor: * lavábis me, et super nivem dealbábor.
9 Audítui meo dabis gaúdium et lætítiam: * et exsultábunt ossa humiliáta.
10 Avérte fáciem tuam a peccátis meis: * et omnes iniquitátes meas dele.
11 Cor mundum crea in me Deus: * et spíritum rectum ínnova in viscéribus meis.
12 Ne projícias me a fácie tua: * et Spíritum sanctum tuum ne aúferas a me.
13 Redde mihi lætítiam salutáris tui: * et spíritu principáli confírma me.

Have mercy on me, O God, * according to thy great mercy.
2 And according to the multitude of thy tender mercies * blot out my iniquity.
3 Wash me yet more from my iniquity, * and cleanse me from my sin.
4 For I know my iniquity, * and my sin is always before me.
5 To thee only have I sinned, and have done evil before thee: * that thou mayst be justified in thy words and mayst overcome when thou art judged.
6 For behold I was conceived in iniquities; * and in sins did my mother conceive me.
7 For behold thou hast loved truth: * the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom thou hast made manifest to me.
8 Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: * thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
9 To my hearing thou shalt give joy and gladness: * and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice.
10 Turn away thy face from my sins, * and blot out all my iniquities.
11 Create a clean heart in me, O God: * and renew a right spirit within my bowels.
12 Cast me not away from thy face; * and take not thy holy spirit from me.
13 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, * and strengthen me with a perfect spirit.
14 I will teach the unjust thy ways: * and the wicked shall be converted to thee.
15 Deliver me from blood, O God, thou God of my salvation: * and my tongue shall extol thy justice.
16 O Lord, thou wilt open my lips: * and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
17 For if thou hadst desired sacrifice, I would indeed have given it: * with burnt offerings thou wilt not be delighted.
18 A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit: * a contrite and humbled heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
19 Deal favourably, O Lord, in thy good will with Sion; * that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.
20 Then shalt thou accept the sacrifice of justice, oblations and whole burnt offerings: * then shall they lay calves upon thy altar.

Collecta.
